Investing in sustainable agriculture practices to improve food security and livelihoods in vulnerable communities
Caritas Kumba Food Security and Livelihood dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable communities through sustainable agriculture, income generation, and nutrition programs. Our mission is to empower these communities by providing them with the tools, knowledge, and all necessary support they need to achieve food security and sustainable livelihoods. We envision a world where every individual, regardless of their circumstances, has access to nutritious food and the means to support themselves and their families. This mandate drives us to create lasting solutions that address the root causes of food insecurity and poverty.
Our approach is holistic and community-driven. We believe in the power of local leadership and the importance of sustainable practices. By working closely with communities, we tailor our programs to meet their specific needs and aspirations.
Over the years Caritas has worked with WFP and Caritas Germany in providing Food assistance in Cash and in Kind to support people affected by the Socio-political crisis in Cameroon.
